Coming Soon: Coding with Finch is a Snap!

March 17, 2023

What if you could increase engagement, improve behavior, and meet more required standards in your classroom – in just a snap? Coding with the Finch Robot is a Snap!, and we can’t wait to share it all with you!

In this hands-on course, you will practice programming using the Finch robot and the Snap! Block-based programming language. To make sure you get the most of this PD, each participant will receive a FREE Finch Robot to code along, and keep once the course is complete! Participants will not only have the opportunity to immediately apply their knowledge during live classes, but also to challenge themselves with asynchronous activities. We will cover a wide range of topics such as if-else statements, loops, sensors, data collection, artificial intelligence, and more. You will complete this course with  example projects, sample code, and teaching strategies to implement with your students right away. This course is intended for teachers working with 3rd-12th grade  students programming at a beginner and intermediate level.

This course is available for educators:

  • Who teach 3rd-12th grade students at a tuition-free school in the US
  • Are planning to or currently teaching block programming with their students.
  • Previous programming experience is not required. Robotics experience is not required.
