Practical AI in the Classroom with Robotics

Virtual Course | 8–11am CST M–Th | July 21–August 1

Looking to introduce AI in your classroom but unsure where to start? Join us for a two-week, hands-on course to learn how the Finch Robot can help you make machine learning and programming accessible and engaging for your students.

During this interactive, virtual course, you’ll learn how to bring AI concepts to life using the Finch Robot and block-based coding languages. Every participant will receive a FREE Finch Robot to use during the course and keep afterward!

This course is intended for:

  • Public or public charter school teachers
  • Teachers who work with grades 4-12
  • Program at a beginner or intermediate level
  • Want to integrate AI in a practical, engaging way

Personalized projects, sample code, and practical teaching strategies will equip you to implement AI concepts in your classrooms right away. Plus, the course is aligned with CSTA standards!

No coding experience needed! Spaces are limited. Register by May 31 to ensure delivery of your Finch Robot!

  1. Download the Scholarship letter using THIS LINK.
    Or you can download the letter as a PDF.
  2. Complete digitally or print and sign. The Scholarship Letter must be completed by BOTH you and your administrator/principal/supervisor.

    • If you have completed Requirements #1 and #2 (described above) you can upload your Welcome Page screenshot and SIGNED Scholarship Letter directly in this form for a faster and complete registration process!
    • If you HAVE NOT completed Requirements #1 and #2 and you do not upload them in the Registration Form, your registration will NOT be complete. You can email your screenshot and scholarship letter to amanda@birdbraintechnologies.com.

Meet your instructor: Amanda Gray, Educator Success Specialist, BirdBrain Technologies

Amanda is a veteran educator striving to inspire all teachers and students to be curious, get excited about making mistakes, and to never stop learning. Before joining BirdBrain Technologies, her 10 years of teaching adventures included K-8 Music in Alaska, 6-8 Band, STEM, and Robotics in Tennessee and spending two years as a Technology Integration Coach. Along the way, she became enthralled with Computer Science Education and finding meaningful ways to integrate computational thinking and physical computing into all subject areas.
