Join Kelsey Derringer and Matt Chilbert from BirdBrain Technologies to learn to make a robotic parade float using craft supplies and robotic components using the Hummingbird Robotics Kit. Don’t have a Hummingbird? Purchase one from our webstore. This webinar is appropriate for anyone age 8 and up, whether they are a student, parent, or teacher!

We’ll be using common household craft supplies to design and make a miniature parade float.

 

Required Materials

  • Cardboard boxes or scraps
  • Paper cups
  • Craft sticks
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks
  • Tape
  • Toilet paper tubes
  • Straws
  • String
  • Paper clips

Extra Materials (optional)

  • Pipe cleaners
  • Paper plates
  • Plastic cutlery
  • Construction paper
  • Felt
  • Styrofoam balls or packing peanuts
  • Rubber bands
  • …or anything else you have around!

 

 

This webinar is free for anyone to attend. The webinar will not be recorded, since children may be participating.
